Few brands can lay claim to being the first at designing something, but Levi’s founder Levi Strauss did just that, designing the first pair of denim jeans in 1873. Levi’s Vintage Clothing leans on the considerable archives that Levi’s has amassed over the years to produce authentic recreations of iconic garments. In particular, the Levi’s 501 timeline denim capsule celebrates the 501 jean from 1890 right through to 1976, with ‘Shrink To Fit’ selvedge denim made to the same specifications as the originals on which they are based. Levi’s Vintage Clothing, or LVC as it is often shortened, remains the eminent jeans brand throughout the world; often imitated but never equalled.
