Cut from patchworked vintage Kantha quilts, KARU Research’s Drawstring Trousers in red are a seasonal play on a signature piece from the brand. Working with Madder Ajrakh Block Printing, the trousers have a cotton drawstring and elasticated waist, as well as a hand block printed Bemberg lining. Due to how the pants are assembled, each pair features a slightly unique print placement. The pants are an example of KARU Research designer Kartik Kumra’s commitment to celebrating local Indian craftsmanship and mechanical manufacturing processes. Cropped fit. Crafted from 100% cotton.
