The KARU Research Shirt in Neem Leaf Print is an eco-printed shirt with a straight hem. Eco-printing is a process by which weight is pressed upon the fabric to transfer the colour from the natural material onto the fabric – in this case, neem leaves are printed onto the cotton. After a number of weeks, the colour transfers onto the fabric in an entirely mechanical printing process. The cotton used in the shirt is a hand loomed fabric and the shirt features horn buttons throughout. KARU Research is a small brand helmed by Kartik Kumra, based in India and celebrating local craftsmanship and mechanical manufacturing processes. Crafted from 100% cotton. Manufactured in India.
