DAW Cross Sweater
Black
00087
The DAW Cross Sweater is a hero piece from GR10K this season. DAW stands for Die Ästhetik Des Widerstands (The Aesthetics of Resistance), a book by Peter Weiss that provoked a set of garments produced as a documentary on contemporary artist studio practice and their implications in the art world. The sweater shape is based on an insurance company security guard knit. The fabric has been produced by dismantling aramadic bullet proof vests and fire-proof kits. The material has then been worked with 100% wool yarn to create a mixed pattern with natural variation. The style carries a silicon daw patch. Crafted from 50% regenerated Para-Aramidic, 50% wool. Manufactured in Italy.
Model is 183cm and wears a size M.
