Amsterdam based designer Camiel Fortgens’ eponymous label explores classic shapes, luxury fabrics and archetypal menswear silhouettes through a contemporary lens. Founded in 2014, Camiel Fortgens places an emphasis on highly wearable yet experimental proportions. Baggy trousers and loose-fitting shirts are hallmarks, with many of the products in the collection made in France and Portugal. The frayed edges on the garments are instantly recognisable and have quickly afforded the brand a cult following as it seeks to bridge the gap between classical and experimental temperaments.
